The False River Historical Trail
Hike or Bicycle Tour
Was an Eagle Service Project Developed by Kevin N. Cicero, Troop 66,
New Roads, Louisiana in August 1987.
Many of the signs were destroyed, taken down, and the trail was slowly diminishing.
Mrs. Melanie Bueche, Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury President, Tony Clayton & Family, and the Pointe Coupee Parish Tourist Commission re-established the Historical Hike or Bicycle Tour in October 2012
